According to information on the website of the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD), a tremor with a magnitude of 5.0 was recorded at 09:31, with its epicenter in Pazarcık.

The earthquake was determined to have occurred at a depth of 7 kilometers.

The tremor was also felt in surrounding provinces. Citizens left their homes and workplaces.

In an informational post made by AFAD, the following statements were used: "Following the 5.0 magnitude earthquake that occurred in the Pazarcık district of our Kahramanmaraş province at 09:31, there are currently no negative reports. Field scanning operations are ongoing. We extend our best wishes to our affected citizens."
