Factory fire in Esenyurt continues for hours: Successive explosion sounds heard
The fire that broke out at a hardware factory in Esenyurt during the night has entered its 4th hour. Although the flames have been partially suppressed, explosions were observed to continue from time to time.
The fire occurred around 00:30 at a factory located on Osmangazi Hadımköy Yolu Street in Esenyurt. The fire, which started for an unknown reason, spread over a large area.
Upon notification, numerous fire, health, and police teams were dispatched to the scene from surrounding districts. As the fire enters its 4th hour, the fire department's efforts continue from 5 fronts.
Although the fire has been partially suppressed and brought under control, it was observed that materials burning in the factory's yard were exploding from time to time. Meanwhile, the factory where the fire occurred was filmed from the air.
While security measures continue in the surrounding area, Hadımköy Yolu Street, where the fire occurred, has been closed to traffic in one direction. The fire department's intervention in the fire continues.
