Family dispute in Bursa ends in tragedy: 22-year-old man critically wounds his father with a knife

Domestic violence occurred during the night in the Fatih neighborhood of Bursa's Osmangazi district. At approximately 01:30, a verbal argument broke out for an unknown reason between 50-year-old A.Ş. and his 22-year-old son, Ö.Ş., at a house on 3rd Park Street. As the argument escalated quickly into a fight, Ö.Ş. stabbed his father in the abdominal area.

Upon notification, 112 Emergency Service teams dispatched to the address provided initial medical intervention to the critically wounded A.Ş. at the scene. The injured father was taken by ambulance to Çekirge State Hospital for treatment. It was learned that A.Ş. remains in critical condition.

Following the incident, police teams took security measures around the house. While crime scene investigation teams conducted a detailed examination in and around the home, the suspect, Ö.Ş., was taken into custody. Police have launched a comprehensive investigation into the incident.
