Femicide in İzmir: Missing young woman found buried! Her final footage has emerged...

Tragic news has arrived regarding 25-year-old Mihriban Yılmaz, who had been sought as a missing person for days in the Bornova district of İzmir. In the incident that took place in the Ümit neighborhood, it was revealed that the young woman had been a victim of murder.

Following a report by relatives who could not reach Mihriban Yılmaz on December 29, 2025, police teams took action. Teams from the Provincial Security Directorate's Intelligence and Public Order Branches, along with the Bornova District Security Directorate, launched a large-scale investigation following the missing person report. As a result of the investigations, it was determined that Yılmaz had been murdered.

Within the scope of the investigation, 5 individuals identified as Fatih İnan (26), R.Ç. (34), R.Ç. (32), H.İ. (37), and Ö.İ. (25) were identified as suspects. The suspects were apprehended and taken into custody in an operation. In the work carried out by the Homicide Bureau teams, it was determined that Mihriban Yılmaz was strangled to death by Fatih İnan and subsequently buried. During the search conducted in line with the suspect's statement and location demonstration, the young woman's lifeless body was found. Yılmaz's body was delivered to her family following an autopsy at the İzmir Forensic Medicine Institute.

HER FINAL MOMENTS REFLECTED ON CAMERA

As the investigation deepened, chilling allegations also came to light. It was claimed that Mihriban Yılmaz was kidnapped by the murder suspect, held captive for approximately 10 days, and systematically beaten during this period.

It was alleged that the young woman's face became unrecognizable due to the violence she suffered, and that she was killed and buried after being tortured. It was learned that Yılmaz's final footage before she went missing was captured second by second on nearby security cameras.

The suspects, whose procedures at the police station were completed, were referred to the courthouse. The court decided to arrest the murder suspect Fatih İnan, while the other four suspects were released under judicial control conditions.
