Fire panic at AŞTİ: Bus rendered unusable
A fire that broke out in an empty bus at the Ankara Intercity Bus Terminal (AŞTİ) parking lot caused panic.
According to the information obtained, a fire broke out for an unknown reason in a bus with license plate 19 KK 454, belonging to Varan Turizm, which was parked in the AŞTİ bus parking lot during the night hours.
Upon the notification of citizens in the vicinity, police and fire brigade teams were dispatched to the scene. While the bus, which was extinguished as a result of the intervention of the fire brigade teams, was rendered unusable, material damage occurred to 2 other buses parked nearby. The fire brigade teams have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the fire.
