Gas leak at factory in Ankara: 2 workers lose their lives
In Ankara's Polatlı district, 5 workers attempting to repair a pipe at a factory were poisoned by leaking gas. Two workers lost their lives, while 3 others were taken under medical treatment.
A gas leak occurred at a lithium factory located in the Organized Industrial Zone in Ankara's Polatlı district.
According to the information obtained, 5 workers who wanted to perform maintenance on pipes at the factory were poisoned by nitrogen gas leaking from a pipe. In the incident, workers K.K. and F.Y. lost their lives, while the treatment of the other 3 workers continues at Polatlı State Hospital.
On the other hand, an investigation has been launched into the incident by the Ankara Polatlı Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
