Henna night turns into a nightmare in İzmit: Disco ball falls on the bride and 2 guests

A henna night in the İzmit district of Kocaeli nearly ended in tragedy. During the celebration held at a wedding hall in the Sanayi neighborhood, a disco ball (mirror ball) mounted to the ceiling detached and fell from a height of approximately 4 meters onto the dance floor.

This accident, which occurred right in the middle of the entertainment, left the guests in deep shock. At that moment, the bride, B.S., and two guests dancing on the floor were injured as a result of the impact. As the bride and guests collapsed to the ground in pain, the hall was suddenly filled with panic.

Following the accident, guests in the hall immediately reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Medical teams arrived at the scene quickly and, after providing initial treatment, transported the injured to hospitals. The bride, B.S., was taken to Kocaeli State Hospital, while the other two injured individuals were taken to Kocaeli City Hospital.

While police teams have launched a detailed investigation at the scene, it was reported that, according to initial assessments, the injuries of those involved are not life-threatening.
