Horrific accident in Diyarbakır: 13 vehicles pile up! Many injured
Nine people were injured in a chain-reaction accident involving 13 vehicles on the Diyarbakır-Elazığ highway due to fog.
A chain-reaction accident involving a total of 13 vehicles—including a Hyundai with license plate 06 FY 8624, a Fiat with 21 AEM 495, an Opel with 21 BJ 627, as well as vehicles with plates 06 HB 0752, 34 GEM 025, 01 TM 749, 21 AEU 549, 34 PC 5926, 34 BKM 194, and four others whose plates could not be identified—occurred on the Devegeçidi Bridge on the Elazığ road due to fog, leaving 9 people with minor injuries.
Upon notification, police, gendarmerie, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. The injured were transported to hospitals in the city following initial intervention by medical teams. The vehicles were removed from the road with the help of tow trucks.
Police and gendarmerie provided controlled traffic flow.
