In Turkey, 15 million 351 thousand people receive retirement, disability, death, or survivor's pensions from the state, while 25 million 96 thousand people are employed as insured workers.
According to the Social Security Institution (SSI) data for February 2024, there are a total of 25 million 96 thousand 600 employees (active insured), consisting of 18 million 400 thousand 671 under SSK (4a) status, 3 million 44 thousand 555 under Bağ-Kur (4b) status, and 3 million 651 thousand 374 under the Government Employees Retirement Fund (4c) status.

NUMBER OF RETIREES INCREASED BY 3 MILLION
According to the Social Security Institution (SSI) data for February 2024, there are a total of 25 million 96 thousand 600 employees (active insured), consisting of 18 million 400 thousand 671 under SSK (4a) status, 3 million 44 thousand 555 under Bağ-Kur (4b) status, and 3 million 651 thousand 374 under the Government Employees Retirement Fund (4c) status.
