According to the Turkish Statistical Institute's (TÜİK) July report on motor land vehicles, the number of vehicles registered in Kütahya has reached 275 thousand 597. Thus, it has exceeded the provincial center's population of 275 thousand 111, marking a new peak.
According to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) data for July, the number of vehicles in Kütahya increased by 2 thousand 376 compared to the previous month. Automobiles accounted for the largest share of vehicle types in the city with 126 thousand 38, followed by motorcycles in second place with 66 thousand 892, and tractors in third place with 37 thousand 924.
Across Turkey, the number of vehicles registered to traffic in July was 257 thousand 471.
The population of the Kütahya provincial center was announced as 275 thousand 111 according to 2024 data.
