Lottery dates announced for 7 provinces in 500,000 social housing project
Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Murat Kurum announced that a new phase has been reached in the lottery process for the 500,000-unit housing project. Lotteries will be held in 7 more provinces between January 12 and January 18, 2026.
Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Murat Kurum has made new statements regarding the schedule for the lottery draws in the 500,000-unit housing project. The lottery dates for 7 provinces in the social housing project have been finalized.
In his assessment of the matter, Minister Kurum stated the following:
"16 of our provinces are complete.
Saying 'Turkey is the Homeowner,' we will experience the excitement of the lottery in 7 more of our cities this week.
With the Housing Project of the Century, we will rapidly begin the construction of our homes in the provinces where we have held the draws.
With this 1.5 trillion dollar project, nearly 300 of our sectors will be revitalized, our employment will increase, and our economy will strengthen. Our 86 million citizens will win."
According to the announced schedule, the lottery draws to be held between January 12 and January 18, 2026, are as follows:
- Gümüşhane – Bayburt: Monday, January 12
- Artvin – Rize: Thursday, January 15
- Erzurum – Malatya: Saturday, January 17
- Erzincan: Sunday, January 18
- Officials stated that the lottery draws will continue in the coming days in accordance with the program to be announced by the Housing Development Administration (TOKİ).
