Man who murdered his wife by slitting her throat released for the second time!

In the Koçarlı district of Aydın, Mustafa A., who murdered his wife of two months by slitting her throat three years ago, was initially released following a court ruling that he was "mentally unfit," but was placed back under treatment following public outcry. It has been learned that Mustafa A. has been released again after a treatment process that lasted approximately one and a half months.

In the murder that took place on August 31, 2022, in the Demiroluk Plateau area of Satılar Neighborhood in Aydın's Koçarlı district, 32-year-old Necla A. lost her life. Necla A. had married Mustafa A. (33) on June 26, 2022, and only two months had passed since the marriage. It was alleged that Mustafa A.'s psychological condition had been concealed during the wedding and engagement process.

The young woman was murdered by her husband, Mustafa A., who slit her throat, and her funeral was laid to rest amidst the tears of her relatives. Mustafa A., who was taken into custody following the murder, was arrested by the court and sent to prison.

During the trial process, a report was prepared stating that Mustafa A., who had been in prison for approximately three years, was "mentally unfit." Based on this report, the court ruled that he lacked criminal liability and decided to release him. Necla A.'s family appealed the decision.

Upon the acceptance of the appeal, the İzmir Execution Judgeship overturned the release decision. Following this, Mustafa A. was apprehended and transferred to a high-security hospital. It has been learned that Mustafa A., who was stated to have received treatment in Kocaeli for approximately one and a half months, was released again after the process was completed.
