Meteorology issues 'downpour' warning for 10 provinces
The General Directorate of Meteorology (MGM) has issued a warning for heavy downpours in 10 provinces across the Central Anatolia Region for tomorrow.
According to MGM data, locally heavy downpours and thunderstorms are expected on Tuesday, May 28, in the vicinity of Ankara, Konya, Niğde, Aksaray, Nevşehir, Kırşehir, Yozgat, and Kırıkkale, as well as in the western parts of Kayseri and Sivas.
Meteorology has warned citizens to be cautious against adverse conditions such as flash floods, inundation, lightning strikes, disruptions to transportation, strong winds during precipitation, and localized hail.
