Motorcyclist in Avcılar fined 226 thousand TL and detained
In Istanbul's Avcılar district, a motorcyclist stopped during a police check was found to be using a fake license plate and driving without a license. The driver, whose vehicle also lacked inspection and insurance, was fined a total of 226 thousand lira and taken into custody on charges of "forgery of official documents."
A motorcyclist using a fake license plate and driving without a license was caught during a police operation in Istanbul's Avcılar district.
During an inspection conducted in the Merkez neighborhood at noon, a person riding a motorcycle on the street was stopped by police teams. Checks revealed that the license plate attached to the motorcycle was fake. It was also determined that the driver did not have a driver's license, and that the vehicle lacked both a valid inspection and mandatory traffic insurance.

As a result of the inspection, the driver was issued a total of 226 thousand lira in administrative fines for various violations. The individual was also taken into custody on charges of "forgery of official documents."

The driver, who was fined during the operation, stated, "The plate fell off. It will be paid, God is great. The value of the motorcycle is a quarter of the fine."
