Passenger bus crashes into semi-truck in Sakarya! Many injured

A passenger bus with license plate 34 YK 4734, driven by A.T. and traveling from Istanbul to Denizli, rear-ended a semi-truck with license plate 42 AON 570, driven by E.Y., in the Gökgöz neighborhood area on the D-650 highway heading toward Bilecik.

The bus continued for a short distance after the collision before coming to a stop at a gas station. Upon notification, health, fire, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the scene.

Those trapped in the vehicle due to the accident were extracted by fire crews and handed over to medical personnel.

The injured driver A.T., reserve driver Ö.A., assistant H.G., and passengers R.Y., S.B., R.M., M.G., S.A., Ş.E., C.U.E., V.K., and N.A. were taken to hospitals in the city by medical teams after receiving initial treatment at the scene.

Traffic, which had been reduced to a single lane, returned to normal after the vehicles were removed.

Meanwhile, the other passengers on the bus waited for a while at the gas station.
