Person who went missing after Trabzonspor-Beşiktaş match found dead
A person who could not be reached by their family in the Çarşıbaşı district after watching the Trabzonspor-Beşiktaş match, which ended 3-3 in Trabzon last night, has been found dead in a culvert in a creek bed.
According to the information obtained, relatives of Mehmet Anık (62) filed a missing person report after they were unable to reach him following the Trabzonspor-Beşiktaş match played last night. This morning, Anık was found motionless inside a culvert in a creek bed in the Burunbaşı Yalı Street area of the Çarşıbaşı district.
Upon the report, medical teams, AFAD, crime scene investigation teams, and Homicide Bureau teams were dispatched to the scene, and the Public Prosecutor also arrived in the area to conduct an investigation. Following the examination, Anık's body was taken to the Trabzon Forensic Medicine Institute. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
On the other hand, while authorities are focusing on the suspicion that the individual slipped on the road, which had become slippery due to rain, and fell into the culvert where he lost his life, the exact cause of death will be determined after an autopsy is performed.
