Real estate agent who defrauded 200 people of 300 million TL found dead in his father's house
In the Çan district of Çanakkale, a real estate agent identified as Osman Ö., who allegedly collected money from numerous people with the promise of high interest and disappeared with approximately 300 million TL, was found hanged in his father's house.
In the Çan district of Çanakkale, a real estate agent identified as Osman Ö. (51), who allegedly collected money from citizens with the promise of high interest, was found dead in his father's house.
According to allegations, Osman Ö., who worked as a real estate agent in the district, began collecting money from people around him by promising high interest returns. It is claimed that Osman Ö., who allegedly collected a total of 300 million TL from approximately 200 people using this method, disappeared after a while.
While it was learned that he had not been heard from in recent days and was not answering his phone, it was stated that his wife had filed a missing person report three days ago. Many people who could not reach him and claimed they could not get their money back became anxious and went to the Çan Courthouse to file complaints. Following the reports, police teams launched an investigation into the matter.
FOUND DEAD IN HIS FATHER'S HOUSE
As part of the investigation, police teams went to the house of Osman Ö.'s father in the Atatürk neighborhood and found the individual hanged. After the work of the crime scene investigation teams, the body of Osman Ö. was taken to the Çan State Hospital morgue for an autopsy.
