Roads closed, homes and businesses flooded in Bodrum! Retaining wall of a building collapses

The heavy rainfall, which had been intermittent in Bodrum, intensified in the early hours of the morning. During the downpour, which was occasionally accompanied by hail, streams overflowed and roads turned into lakes. The road on Konacık Atatürk Boulevard was closed to traffic in both directions in three locations due to water accumulation.

Homes and businesses were flooded in the Konacık and Gümbet areas. Stones and tree branches were swept onto the roads by floodwaters. Following reports, Bodrum Municipality, Muğla Metropolitan Municipality, and police teams were dispatched to the affected areas.

While teams took security measures in the problematic areas, the closed roads were reopened to traffic following the work carried out.
