Services on the Arnavutköy-Istanbul Airport Metro Line begin tomorrow
Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced that transportation on the Arnavutköy-Istanbul Airport line will be free of charge until Sunday, March 31.
The opening ceremony for the Arnavutköy-Istanbul Airport section of the Halkalı-Istanbul Airport Metro Line was held with the participation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan via a live video link.
In his speech at the ceremony, Minister Uraloğlu provided information about the projects they have implemented and inaugurated in Istanbul to date, stating that they take pride in keeping the promises they made to the people of Istanbul.
FREE UNTIL MARCH 31
Uraloğlu announced that the line will begin operations tomorrow morning and that, upon the instructions of President Erdoğan, transportation will be free of charge until Sunday, March 31.
Minister Uraloğlu and the People's Alliance's Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality mayoral candidate Murat Kurum inspected the line's control center before the opening and performed the first ride following the ceremony.
