Social media report card for district municipalities in Istanbul: Which municipality received the most engagement?
Social media engagement data for 2025 for district municipalities in Istanbul has been released. In the study, which evaluated the total of X, Instagram, and Facebook posts, the district municipality at the top of the list has been identified.
The social media performances of district municipalities across Istanbul have been compared. The evaluation, based on 2025 data, took into account the total engagement figures obtained on the X, Instagram, and Facebook platforms. The resulting picture highlights the differences in the digital communication strategies of the municipalities.
ARNAVUTKÖY AT THE TOP, FOLLOWED BY KADIKÖY AND BEYLİKDÜZÜ
According to the released data, Arnavutköy Municipality ranked first on the list in total 2025 social media engagement with 681 thousand 149 interactions. Arnavutköy was followed by Kadıköy Municipality with 647 thousand 852 interactions. In third place is Beylikdüzü Municipality with 291 thousand 23 interactions. These results show that digital competition, especially among large districts, is steadily increasing.
