An operation was carried out in Adana against a criminal network that sold drugs to undercover police officers posing as buyers. The operation revealed striking details regarding the drug deal.
The Adana Police Department recently conducted an operation across the city against a network involved in drug trafficking as well as the sale of numerous long-barreled weapons.
One of the individuals apprehended during the operation was 34-year-old Deniz Beytekin, who operates an auto gallery.
POLICE RECORDED MOMENT BY MOMENT
According to the investigation file, police made contact with Deniz Beytekin on May 29 in the Şakirpaşa neighborhood of Adana's Seyhan district. Posing as buyers, the officers told Beytekin they wanted to purchase drugs. The teams made a covert recording during this meeting. The teams, who captured both audio and video, stated they wanted to buy 20 grams of drugs. The teams discussed all details with this person, including the color and price of the drugs they wanted to purchase.
DRUG DELIVERY IN A POLICE VEHICLE
The parties agreed on 20,000 TL for 20 grams of drugs. Deniz Beytekin called someone during this time and directed the police officers, whom he thought were buyers, to a location sent by this person.
This time, the police teams met with Uğur Beytekin, a relative of Deniz Beytekin. Uğur Beytekin got into the vehicle of the police officers, whom he believed to be buyers. The teams recorded this interaction as well. Beytekin delivered 20 grams of drugs and took the money.
