The accident took place in the morning hours in the Yosunlu area on the Samsun-Ankara highway. Şahin Çayan, who was driving the passenger bus traveling from Istanbul to Giresun, lost control of the steering wheel for an as-yet-undetermined reason. The bus, which went out of control, first entered an irrigation ditch on the side of the road and swerved, then crashed into a parked truck.
DRIVER LOST HIS LIFE AT THE SCENE
Bus driver Şahin Çayan, who was seriously injured by the impact of the collision, could not be saved despite all interventions by medical teams arriving at the scene. 16 passengers were taken to nearby hospitals with minor injuries. It was learned that the injured are not in life-threatening condition.
