Tragic accident in Tuzla: Vehicle loses control and crashes into toll booths, young driver loses life
A 27-year-old driver, identified as S.S., lost his life after his car lost control and crashed into barriers near the Orhanlı toll booths in Tuzla. The fire that broke out following the impact was extinguished by fire crews.
A 27-year-old man, S.S., lost his life in a severe accident that occurred in the direction of Istanbul at the Orhanlı toll booths in Tuzla. According to the information received, the car with license plate 34 MVF 612 lost control for an unknown reason and crashed into the toll booths at high speed. While the vehicle was rendered unusable due to the force of the violent collision, it caught fire shortly after.
Drivers who witnessed the accident reported the situation to emergency services. Upon notification, fire, medical, and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the area. Fire crews arriving at the scene intervened in the vehicle fire and brought the flames under control.
Medical personnel determined that the driver, S.S., had passed away at the scene. Due to the accident, traffic at the toll booths was provided in a controlled manner from a single lane for a period of time. After the vehicle was towed and the road was cleared, traffic flow returned to normal.

It was reported that an investigation into the incident has been initiated.
