Trash dispute in Üsküdar turns deadly: Man stabs neighbor to death

A dispute between neighbors in the Zeynep Kamil neighborhood of Üsküdar, Istanbul, has ended in tragedy. A dispute reportedly broke out between K.H., who lived on Dr. Fahri Atabey Street, and his neighbor, whose identity has not yet been disclosed, over trash left in front of a door.

The argument escalated quickly and turned into a knife fight. K.H., who took refuge in a nearby workplace to save his life, could not escape his neighbor's attack there either. Bystanders immediately notified health and police teams for K.H., who was seriously injured by the knife wounds.

K.H., who was taken to the hospital after the first intervention by the medical teams arriving at the scene, could not be saved despite all efforts. The assailant, who fled after the incident, later went to the police station and surrendered.

An investigation into the incident, which caused deep sorrow in the neighborhood, is ongoing.
