Chaos at Ankara livestock market: Sellers attack police, arrests made
In Ankara's Keçiören district, livestock sellers attempting to obstruct officials from the Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry who arrived for inspections attacked the police teams intervening in the situation.
The incident occurred at the Bağlum Livestock Market located in Keçiören.
According to the information received, some of the livestock sellers attempted to prevent officials from the Ankara Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry from conducting inspections. Following the situation, police teams were dispatched to the area.
A scuffle broke out after the livestock sellers attacked the police officers who were trying to intervene in the incident.
The scuffle was brought to an end with the intervention of reinforcement police teams sent to the scene, and it was learned that some police officers sustained minor injuries.
It was stated that the processing of the detained attackers at the police station is ongoing.
