Doctors' parking dispute turns into a fight: He broke his colleague's nose

A fight broke out between doctors at the parking lot of the State Hospital in the İnegöl district of Bursa. According to the information obtained, a disagreement over a parking space led to an argument between two doctors. General Surgery Specialist Dr. Ferhat D. (32) began arguing with the owner of the other vehicle, Internal Medicine Specialist Dr. Zeki Y. (53), because he could not move his car out of the parking area.

As the verbal argument quickly turned into a fight, Ferhat D. punched his colleague. As a result of the blow, Zeki Y.'s nose was broken. During the fight, swelling also occurred on Ferhat D.'s arm and lip. Police teams stationed at the hospital quickly intervened at the scene and separated the parties.

DOCTORS FILED COMPLAINTS AGAINST EACH OTHER  

Both doctors involved in the fight were taken under treatment at the hospital. Following their treatment, the parties filed complaints against each other. After giving their statements, Ferhat D. was arrested by the court.

COURT DECISION FOR RELEASE 

The lawyer for General Surgery Specialist Ferhat D. appealed the arrest. The court decided that the doctor should be tried without arrest on the grounds that there was 'no suspicion of tampering with evidence or flight risk.' Thus, Ferhat D. was released from prison.
