Efforts are underway to extinguish a fire that started at a recycling facility in the Yıldırım district of Bursa and spread to an adjacent textile factory.
The fire broke out for an as-yet-undetermined reason at the recycling facility operating on Aksu Street in the Vakıf neighborhood.
The flames grew quickly and spread to the textile factory next to the facility. Upon notification, numerous fire, medical, and police teams were dispatched to the area.
Firefighting teams from the Bursa Metropolitan Municipality have begun efforts to bring the fire under control.
The smoke rising from the fire can be seen from many parts of the city.
