A 27-year-old worker named Bekir A. was seriously injured in an explosion that occurred during cleaning at a sunflower oil factory in the Nizip district of Gaziantep. Footage reflected on the security camera shows the moment the worker was thrown meters into the air.

In the incident that took place at the factory named Asnobel, operating in the Nizip Organized Industrial Zone, it was learned that Bekir A. had a cigarette in his mouth while opening the lids of his tanker. At the moment he opened the last lid, a violent explosion occurred for reasons yet to be determined.

The worker, who was thrown to the ground by the force of the explosion, was seriously injured due to burns on his body. Bekir A., who received his first intervention at Nizip State Hospital, was transferred to Gaziantep City Hospital after his condition became critical.

While the worker's treatment continues and his life remains in danger, an investigation has been launched into the cause of the explosion.
