In a statement issued by Metro Istanbul, it was stated, "Due to an increase in the groundwater flow source in the switch area of the tunnel between the Mecidiyeköy-Çağlayan stations on the M7 Yıldız-Mahmutbey Metro Line, a need for repairs has arisen on a section of the rail line."

INVESTIGATION PROCESS INITIATED

The statement indicated that technical inspections and detailed assessment work have been initiated to ensure the line can be operated safely. It was noted that the permanent repair process will begin following the completion of these evaluations.
