Weather warning from the Meteorological Service: Rain and storms are coming

The General Directorate of Meteorology has announced that weather conditions will be challenging in various parts of Turkey today. Most of the country will be partly to, in places, very cloudy. Localized showers and thunderstorms are expected in the inner Aegean, the interior parts of the Eastern Black Sea, the northeast of Eastern Anatolia, and the surroundings of Balıkesir, Bursa, Bilecik, Sakarya, Düzce, Adana, Rize, and Bingöl, as well as the coastal areas of Artvin and Hatay. While air temperatures are expected to be near seasonal norms in the inner and western parts, they will remain above seasonal norms in other regions.

THREE DIFFERENT DANGERS AT ONCE!

The Meteorological Service has issued consecutive warnings for 3 significant weather events. Rainfall is expected to be locally heavy, especially in the surroundings of Kars and Ardahan. It was emphasized that caution should be exercised against floods and flash floods in these regions.

STRONG STORM IN MARMARA!

A strong storm expected to blow from the north and northeast in the Marmara Region will be effective at speeds of 40-60 km/h. Citizens have been asked to take precautions, as negative situations such as roof damage and tree falls may occur due to the storm, especially in coastal areas.

DUST TRANSPORT WILL BE EFFECTIVE IN THE EAST AND SOUTHEAST!

Visibility will decrease due to dust transport in the southeast of Eastern Anatolia and the east of Southeastern Anatolia. This situation may pose a danger, especially for drivers. It was reminded that dust transport could also lead to health problems, and a warning was issued that those with respiratory conditions such as asthma should not be outdoors.
