Workers repairing roof in Zonguldak struck by electric current!
Two workers performing repairs on the roof of a gas station were struck by an electric current after the ladder they were lifting touched a high-voltage power line. The two injured workers, one of whom is in critical condition, were taken to the hospital.
In the Ereğli district of Zonguldak, two workers who were called to perform repairs on the roof above the pumps of a gas station were injured when the ladder they were using to climb onto the roof came into contact with a high-voltage power line. While medical teams provided initial intervention on the roof, the injured workers were brought down using a fire department ladder and placed into ambulances. The workers were taken to Ereğli State Hospital.
INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED
It was learned that the condition of one of the injured, Türkoğlu, is critical, while the condition of the other, Yorulmaz, is reported to be good. The police have launched an investigation into the incident.
