Escaped the earthquake, but could not escape his enemy

According to the information obtained, the incident occurred in the morning hours in the garden of the Turhal Sugar Factory.

In the Turhal district, 17-year-old Z.U. struck and injured 41-year-old Erdal Şahin, the brother of Musa Şahin (40), who had shot and killed Z.U.'s brother Serhat Unutmaz (22) with a shotgun last year, with his car.

A search operation was launched to apprehend Z.U., who fled after getting out of his car and kicking Şahin, who was lying injured on the ground.

The background of the incident dates back to last year, when Serhat Unutmaz was shot and killed with a shotgun by Musa Şahin during an armed fight over an elopement issue in Kızkayası Village of the Turhal district.

POINTED A RIFLE AND KICKED

Following the incident, the Şahin family left the province of Tokat and settled in the province of Kahramanmaraş. After the February 6 earthquakes, the Şahin family returned to Turhal.

After striking and injuring Erdal Şahin, the brother of Musa Şahin who killed his brother, with his car, Z.U. pointed a rifle at Şahin and kicked him.

During this time, the father, Ayhan U., took the rifle from his son's hand. The incident was captured on security cameras. Upon the notification of citizens at the scene, medical teams arrived in the area and transported Şahin to the hospital by ambulance for treatment.

It was stated that the health condition of Şahin, whose treatment is ongoing, is good. Efforts to apprehend the fleeing suspect Z.U. are continuing. The father, Ayhan U., who was taken into custody following the incident, was released after his statement at the police station.
