3 more high-ranking Iranian commanders killed
Iranian state television announced that the head of the Revolutionary Guards Intelligence Organization, Mohammad Kazemi, and two generals lost their lives in recent Israeli air operations.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in an interview with Fox News, stated that the head of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards Intelligence, Mohammad Kazemi, and his deputy were killed in an airstrike carried out in Tehran.
“Our brave pilots are currently in the skies over Tehran; we are striking military and nuclear targets,” said Netanyahu, noting that the operation directly targeted the center of Iran’s security apparatus.
Simultaneously with Netanyahu’s statements, Israel launched an airstrike on the international airport in the city of Mashhad, located in northeastern Iran.
In this attack, a military transport aircraft belonging to the Revolutionary Guards was destroyed. The Israel Defense Forces reported that the operation aimed to strike a blow to Iran’s logistics infrastructure.
These Israeli attacks are considered a response to the comprehensive missile and UAV operations carried out by Iran last weekend.
In the attacks carried out by Iran, 16 Israelis lost their lives, and more than 400 people were injured.
