3rd aid convoy for Gaza passes through Rafah Border Crossing

3rd aid convoy for Gaza passes through Rafah Border Crossing

The Rafah Border Crossing, described as the Gaza Strip's gateway to the world, which had been closed since the Israel-Palestine conflict began on October 7, was opened for aid on Saturday.

Following the opening of the Rafah Border Crossing, the only border gate between Egypt and the Gaza Strip, on Saturday, the passage of convoys waiting at the border to deliver aid to Gaza continues. The third of the trucks carrying aid such as food, water, medicine, and medical supplies passed through the Rafah Border Crossing and reached Gaza.

2.3 MILLION PEOPLE LIVE THERE

Israel did not allow fuel to be transported with the convoys heading to the Gaza Strip for aid. The first convoy had passed on Saturday.
The first convoy of 20 trucks carrying aid from all over the world to Gaza passed through the Rafah Border Crossing on Saturday, and the second convoy of 17 trucks passed yesterday morning.

The United Nations had stated that approximately 100 trucks per day would be needed to meet basic needs in Gaza, where 2.3 million people live and stocks of food, water, and fuel have been exhausted.
