5.2 and 5.7 magnitude earthquakes hit Iran 5 minutes apart

Two earthquakes measuring 5.2 and 5.7 in magnitude occurred in the Kuzaran region of Kermanshah province in western Iran.

According to information from the Iranian Seismological Center at the University of Tehran, the first earthquake, with a magnitude of 5.2, occurred at a depth of 8 kilometers at approximately 07:13 local time.

It was stated that the epicenter of the earthquake was 17 km from Kuzaran and 65 km from the provincial capital of Kermanshah.

The second earthquake occurred in the same region at 07:18 local time.

Iranian media reported that 3 people were injured in the two earthquakes that occurred 5 minutes apart.
