A 5.2 magnitude earthquake has occurred off the coast of the city of Aden in southern Yemen.
The Yemeni Ministry of Information office published a brief statement regarding the earthquake on its website.
The statement included the following: "An earthquake measuring 5.2 on the Richter scale struck the coast of the capital, Aden."
