500 people arrested in Iran for spying for Israel and the US
Iranian Police Chief Ahmadreza Radan announced that 500 people have been arrested on charges of gathering intelligence for Israel and the US and sharing images and location data regarding potential attack targets.
As the conflict between Iran and the US-Israel alliance continues into its 17th day, the Tehran administration is continuing its operations against individuals engaged in espionage activities within the country. Iranian Police Chief Ahmadreza Radan announced that 500 people have been arrested nationwide on espionage charges. Radan stated that the arrested individuals were gathering intelligence on behalf of Israel and the US and sharing images and location data regarding potential attack targets. Ahmadreza Radan did not provide details on when the arrests took place.
According to the Tasnim News Agency, which is known for its proximity to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, a statement from the Revolutionary Guard's intelligence organization said, "While the Zionist enemy (Israel) and the US are trying to occupy Iran, they are also attempting to incite riots as a next step by mobilizing mercenaries and spies."

Iranian media reported yesterday that dozens of people had been arrested in various parts of the country. The Tasnim news agency reported that 20 people were arrested in West Azerbaijan province, accused of sending location data regarding Iran's military and security assets to Israel.
