61 billion dollar aid package from the US to Ukraine
While the Russia-Ukraine war, which has been ongoing for two years, causes greater pain and destruction every day, the US House of Representatives has taken a step with its decision that will cause this process to drag on even further.
The US House of Representatives has approved a 61 billion dollar aid package for Ukraine.
In the vote, 310 members of Congress voted "yes," while 112 voted "no." If the bill also passes the Senate, it will be presented to Biden for his signature.
FIRST STATEMENT FROM THE KREMLIN AFTER THE DECISION
Following the decision, Kremlin Spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated, "The decision of the US House of Representatives to approve the aid package for Ukraine will further enrich the US and further ruin Ukraine."
