Airport move from India

The Indian Ministry of Civil Aviation has announced that 24 airports will be closed to civilian flights due to ongoing attacks.

The locations of the closed airports include Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Gujarat, while it was not specified how long the airports would remain closed to civilian flights.

WHAT HAPPENED?

India held Pakistan responsible for the terrorist attack on April 22 in the tourist region of Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir, which killed 26 civilians, and carried out missile strikes on Pakistani territory and the Pakistan-controlled Azad Kashmir region in retaliation. The Indian army stated that Pakistan's military facilities were not targeted, and that it had struck 9 points belonging to the "The Resistance Front (TRF)", a branch of the Lashkar-e-Taiba, and Jaish-e-Mohammed, which are armed groups on the UN Security Council's terror list, under the claim that they were "terror infrastructure." The Pakistani administration, on the other hand, announced that civilian settlements were targeted in the attacks, with 31 people losing their lives and 57 others being injured. The Indian Ministry of Defense stated that a total of 16 people had been killed as a result of fire opened by Pakistan since yesterday morning.
