Israeli Foreign Minister Yisrael Katz targeted President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh on his social media account with the words, ''Muslim Brotherhood: Rape, massacre, desecration of corpses, burning babies, Erdoğan, you should be ashamed!''

Following this, AKP Spokesperson Ömer Çelik reacted to the Israeli minister on his social media account.

AKP Spokesperson Ömer Çelik stated the following:

"The Israeli Foreign Minister's insolent statement targeting our President is nothing more than an attempt to cover up the massacres committed by the Israeli government. Child killers are hostile to every ceasefire and peace initiative. For this reason, we know that the policy led by our President for a ceasefire and peace is being targeted by these massacre networks. However, no matter what they do, they have been condemned before humanity and will one day be held accountable before the law."
