I am also grateful to the NMI personnel who continued their duties without interruption throughout this process; they are true professionals."
The statement emphasized that NMI has no combat mission, noting that the mission supports Iraq in building more sustainable, transparent, and inclusive security institutions and forces.
Furthermore, it was stated that NMI contributes to Iraq in the fields of security and counter-terrorism, and helps prevent the resurgence of the terrorist organization ISIS.
