Anger grows in Iran against Israeli attacks: Withdrawal from negotiations
Following the attacks carried out by Israel, the Iranian public took to the streets to call for retaliation. Following these developments, Iran announced that it has withdrawn from the nuclear negotiations being conducted with the US.
The attacks launched by Israel during the night hours have sparked a major reaction in Iran. The fact that many of Iran's high-ranking military officials lost their lives in the attacks caused the public to take to the streets.
Crowds carrying Hezbollah, Revolutionary Guard, and Iranian flags demanded a harsh response against Israel.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian described the attacks as "criminal and heinous," stating, "The response to this attack will be ruthless." The public's reaction and the government's determination have caused tensions in the region to rise even further.
DEADLOCK IN NUCLEAR NEGOTIATIONS
Iran announced that it has withdrawn from the nuclear deal negotiations being conducted with the US following Israel's attacks. While preparations were underway for the sixth round of talks, Israel's attacks brought the process to a deadlock. The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs criticized Israel's aggressive stance and the US's silence on the matter, stating that dialogue is now "futile and unacceptable."
As these developments further escalate tensions in the region, US President Donald Trump stated that if Iran does not sign the nuclear deal, "harsher attacks" will follow.
