A JOURNALIST QUITS THE PROFESSION FOLLOWING EVENTS IN GAZA

Meanwhile, Anas al-Najjar, a journalist working in Gaza, announced that he is quitting his profession in this brutal war, complaining about the world's indifference to what is happening in Gaza.

In a post on his social media account, Najjar stated, "I am ending my news coverage here. Searching for a safe place with my family is a thousand times better than searching for news to convey to a world that does not understand what feelings or humanity mean."

Noting that he prays for God's mercy for his journalist colleagues killed in Israeli attacks, Najjar stated that he has "ended his journalistic work in this brutal war."
