In a poll conducted by the American network CBS between January 3-5, American voters were asked whether they approved of Joe Biden's policies regarding irregular migrants at the Mexican border, with 32 percent answering "yes" and 68 percent answering "no."

It was stated that the approval rating Biden received on border security is the lowest figure in the institution's polls to date.

Participants in the survey also gave only a 35 percent approval rating to Republicans in Congress on the same issue, with 65 percent stating that they did not find the approach of Republican Senators and House members to the problem at the country's border to be correct.

MIGRANT ISSUE AT CRISIS LEVEL

Of the U.S. voters who responded to the survey questions, 45 percent expressed the view that the issue of irregular migrants at the country's Mexican border is at a "crisis level," while 63 percent stated that entries from the border "should be made even more difficult."

Furthermore, while 40 percent of Americans noted that the number of migrants in the region where they live has "increased," 25 percent noted that it has "remained the same or decreased," and 35 percent reported that they "did not notice whether it increased or decreased."

Regarding the transport of irregular migrants from the country's southern states to northern regions, 43 percent of the general U.S. electorate found it "correct," while 57 percent found it "wrong." When this rate is broken down by party, 66 percent of Democrats and 47 percent of Republicans declared that they were against sending the migrants in question to the north of the country.
