Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi made a statement on his social media account ahead of the indirect negotiations to be held with the US in Geneva, Switzerland, on Thursday.

Stating that the talks will resume based on the agreements reached in the previous round, Araghchi said, "Iran will resume talks with the US in Geneva with the determination to reach a fair and balanced agreement as soon as possible."

"Iran will never develop nuclear weapons"

Emphasizing that Iran's fundamental position is clear, Araghchi stated, "Under no circumstances will Iran ever develop nuclear weapons. However, we Iranians will also never give up our people's right to benefit from the opportunities offered by peaceful nuclear technology."

Araghchi said, "We have a historic opportunity to reach an unprecedented agreement that addresses mutual concerns and secures common interests. An agreement is possible if diplomacy is prioritized.
