Attack on railway bridge in Russia: Ukraine claims responsibility

Ukraine announced that it blew up a railway bridge in the Samara region of southwestern Russia on Monday, March 4.
According to Kyiv's statement, the attack is the latest in a series of explosions targeting railway networks that Russia uses to transport troops and equipment to Ukraine.
Ukraine's Military Intelligence (HUR) stated on Telegram that "around 6:00 a.m. on March 4, 2024, the bridge's support structures were blown up and damaged."
According to the HUR, Moscow was using the bridge to transport military cargo, specifically ammunition from a polymer plant in Chapayevsk in the Samara region.
According to a statement from Russia, there were no deaths or injuries in the attack.
According to a report by the Russian state news agency TASS, initial investigations determined that explosives were placed on the bridge's support columns. It is unknown who placed the explosives.
