Attacks in Gaza intensify: Jabalia and Beit Lahia targeted
The death toll and number of injured are rising in the Israeli army's attacks on the Gaza Strip. Many buildings have been destroyed and healthcare services have come to a standstill due to air and artillery strikes in areas such as Rafah, Nuseirat, and Jabalia.
According to information received from eyewitnesses, the Israeli army carried out an airstrike on the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.
The attack, which targeted the Mesbah area in the north of the city, left 4 people dead and many others injured.
INTENSE ATTACK ON NUSEIRAT IN CENTRAL GAZA
According to information obtained from medical sources, the Israeli army launched intense airstrikes and artillery fire on the Al-Muhayyem al-Jadid area, located north of the Nuseirat Refugee Camp in the central Gaza Strip.
Many people were injured in the attacks.
ISRAELI SOLDIERS BLOW UP BUILDINGS IN NORTHERN GAZA
The Jabalia Refugee Camp and the town of Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip were also targets of intense Israeli air and artillery strikes.
Israeli military vehicles opened heavy fire around Al-Karam Street, which intersects with Salah al-Din Street in the southeast of Jabalia.
According to eyewitnesses, Israeli soldiers used explosives to blow up several buildings in the Jabalia, Beit Lahia, and Saftawi regions of the northern Gaza Strip.
"URGENT AID" CALL FROM KAMAL ADWAN HOSPITAL DIRECTOR
Meanwhile, Hussam Abu Safiya, the director of Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip, warned in a written statement that a humanitarian catastrophe would worsen if medical services in northern Gaza were to cease.
Abu Safiya once again called for "the urgent entry of medical supplies and humanitarian aid into hospitals."
In an attack on Kamal Adwan Hospital in the city of Beit Lahia, located in the northern Gaza Strip, which the Israeli army has kept under intense attack, hospital director Hussam Abu Safiya and some staff members were injured the day before yesterday.
In his statement yesterday, Abu Safiya said, "The attacks will not stop us. Whatever the cost, we will continue to provide this service to humanity."
The Israeli army, which has targeted Kamal Adwan Hospital and its medical staff, has bombed the hospital multiple times over the last two weeks, as it has intensified its attacks, and has directly targeted critical sections such as the emergency room and operating theaters.
