Azerbaijan takes control of 4 villages on the Armenian border!
Control of four villages on the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan has passed to Azerbaijan in accordance with an agreement.
Azerbaijan has taken control of four villages in the Gazakh region on the Armenian border as part of an agreement reached with the Yerevan government.

ARMENIA HAD ANNOUNCED IT WOULD RETURN THEM
In April, Armenia had announced that it would return the uninhabited villages to Azerbaijan.
Both sides had stated that this was a milestone on the path toward a peace agreement between Yerevan and Baku.
However, this decision by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had caused protests in the country.
More than 150 protesters demanding Pashinyan's resignation due to the decision to cede the border villages to Azerbaijan had been detained.
