Bad news for Biden and Trump from US election poll

In a poll conducted in the US, more than half of the voters expressed that they are not satisfied with US President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump being candidates in the 2024 presidential election.

Bad news for Biden and Trump from US election poll

According to the results of a poll conducted by AP-NORC with 1,074 people, most voters in the US are not satisfied with the candidacies of Biden and Trump in the 2024 presidential election.

While 56 percent of participants stated that they would be "very" or "somewhat" dissatisfied with Biden running as the Democratic presidential candidate, this rate was 58 percent if Trump were to be the Republican presidential candidate.

The rate of those who said they would be happy with Biden's presidential candidacy remained at 27 percent, while those who said it "does not matter" were determined to be 16 percent.

While 32 percent of participants expressed that they would be satisfied with Trump's presidential candidacy, 10 percent remained neutral.

According to the poll on a party basis, 49 percent of Democratic voters stated that they would be satisfied with Biden's presidential candidacy. While 32 percent of Democratic voters expressed that they would not be satisfied with Biden's presidential candidacy, 18 percent noted that the situation would make no difference to them.

The rate of Republican voters who are satisfied with Trump's candidacy rose to 65 percent, while those who expressed dissatisfaction were 26 percent, and those who remained neutral were 9 percent.

The poll in question was conducted between November 30 and December 4 among 1,074 adult voters across the US.
