Bad news for Netanyahu from Norway!
Norwegian Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide has announced that if the International Criminal Court (ICC) issues arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, Norway would be obligated to enforce them.
Norwegian Foreign Minister Espen Barth Eide made statements to the Norwegian press regarding the ICC's application for "arrest warrants" for Netanyahu and Gallant.
Pointing out that if the ICC issues arrest warrants and they enter Norwegian territory, they would be required to arrest Netanyahu and Gallant, Eide stated that the same procedure would also apply to the Hamas leaders for whom the ICC has requested arrest warrants.
Eide noted that the same practice applies to other European countries as well.
Norway has become the first European country to announce that it would arrest Netanyahu should an arrest warrant be issued.
